Job Requirements:
Experience:
> Between 5-7 years of overall work experience.
> Minimum 4 years of analysis, data design, and data modeling experience.
> Strong experience in process analysis and workflow modeling.
> Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes.
Education/Certification/Designation:
> Bachelor’s degree specializing in Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
General Skills and Competencies:
> Expert ability to identify data gaps and assess end-to-end data requirements.
> Excellent communication skills to build alliances and gain consensus with key stakeholders.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
> Advanced experience with Erwin Data Modeler r9.8 or similar version.
> Advanced experience with dimensional modeling techniques.
> Exposure to data modeling experience and data architecture best practices.
> Experience with relational database modeling techniques.
> Advanced SQL skills for data profiling, unit testing, and data extraction.
> Experience in Data Lake, Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, or relevant data environments.
> Experience using Azure Data Lake (ADLS), Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
> Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
> Experience working with DevOps CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
Assets (Desired Skills and Experience):
> Experience in real-time data streaming and loading.
> Experience modeling data for data science projects.
> Experience working with Scale Agile Methodology (SAFe).
> Experience working with Tableau or Power BI.
> Experience with semi-structured and unstructured data.
> Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architecture.
> Written presentation experience, presenting insights in plain language and images.
> Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, work independently and in a team.
> Experience in leading and participating in business workshops.
> Ability to promote business intelligence, analytics, and reporting vision.
> Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
