Responsibilities:
> Collaborate with key stakeholders in discovery processes to identify business requirements and expected outcomes.
> Develop Neural Network models for information extraction from mortgage documents using Computer Vision and NLP techniques.
> Design and construct scalable Machine Learning (ML) pipelines to deploy ML models at scale.
> Plan experiments, test hypotheses, and build models, including conducting advanced data analysis and designing complex algorithms.
> Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear and comprehensible manner to a diverse audience and key stakeholders.
> Deliver high-quality software adhering to best practices for data collection, modeling, and software development.
> Work closely with development teams to deploy models into the production environment, supporting ML-driven product features.
> Define business-specific performance metrics to evaluate model effectiveness and continuously enhance these metrics for models used in the production environment.
Knowledge And Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred.
> Proven experience in building production-grade Neural Network models using Computer Vision (CV) or NLP techniques.
> 6 or more years of relevant ML engineering experience, including the development of highly scalable ML pipelines using distributed data processing and distributed deep learning techniques.
> Hands-on programming experience in Python, Spark programming, Java, or other programming languages.
> Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Networks, etc.
> Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MxNet.
> Proficiency in query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, and NoSQL databases.
> Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics to a cross-functional audience.
